The Bureau of Energy Efficiency rating certificate is issued by the BEE indicating the level of compliance done by an organisation about the standards and guidelines issued by the bureau. The certificate is framed to regulate, audit the time intervals, monitor and improve energy efficiency.
Fill-up the online Application Form. Compile the necessary information and documents and upload the same to BEE portal. Make the online payment of model registration fee to BEE. Submit the hard copy of application with all enclosures duly signed by Authorized Signatory along with Specimen of BEE Label, as applicable.
The Government of India set up Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE). on 1st March 2002 under the provisions of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001.
Though BEE exempt certificates are not compulsory, they are certainly recommended as proof of Level 4 contributor status. The certificates also serve as proof of 100% B-BBEE procurement recognition.
The Bureau of Energy Efficiency is an agency of the Government of India, under the Ministry of Power created in March 2002 under the provisions of the nation's 2001 Energy Conservation Act.[1] The agency's function is to develop programs which will increase the conservation and efficient use of energy in India.
Bureau of Energy Efficiency(BEE) has took up various policy and regulatory initiatives to enhance energy efficiency of building sector namely ECBC, support for energy assessment & retrofitting process and voluntary star rating programme for commercial buildings.
The Standards & Labeling Programme is one of the major thrust areas of BEE. A key objective of this scheme is to provide the consumer an informed choice about the energy saving and thereby the cost saving potential of the relevant marketed product.
The star rating of an AC helps in estimating the cooling efficiency of an air-conditioner. This star rating is provided for customer awareness by BEE (Bureau of Energy Efficiency.) ISEER stands for Indian Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio.
