BIS REGISTRATION FOR POINT OF SALE TERMINALS

IS Standard : IS 13252 (Part-1)


All Point of Sale Terminals needs to be registered under IS 13252 (Part-1) of BIS-CRS (Compulsory Registration Scheme). Point of Sale (POS) Terminals cannot be imported or sold without BIS approval in the Indian consumer market. The process is simple and easy, making sure that the Point of Sale Terminals meets all safety and quality standards set by the Bureau of Indian Standards.
