BIS REGISTRATION FOR POWER ADAPTORS

IS Standard : IS 13252 (Part-1)


The BIS CRS Registration for Power Adaptors for IT Equipments is a voluntary registration scheme that aims to improve the safety of power adaptors used with IT equipment. The scheme provides a set of safety requirements that manufacturers must meet in order to have their products registered.
All Power Adaptors for IT Equipment needs to be registered in the BIS-CRS Registration Scheme, under IS 13252 (Part-1). Power Adaptors for IT Equipment will not be exported or imported or sold without BIS CRS registration in India.
